SHE FLUTTER

Hi, I’m Tamica.

A thyroid cancer survivor, a proud military spouse and an empty nester, rediscovering myself through style, travel and storytelling.

Writing SEASONS, a novel series inspired by my life.

My story

Three big changes, all at once

Cancer, military life far from home, and an empty nest brought me to a crossroads. Here’s what came of it.

  • One

    Survivor

I faced thyroid cancer and came through it. Healing changed how I want to live every season that comes next.

  • Two

    Military spouse

Moves, waiting, homecomings and the life in between. Europe became more than a duty station: a place to heal and create.

  • Three

    Reinvention

With the kids grown, I’m rediscovering myself through style, travel and storytelling, and sharing it all here.

Why SHE FLUTTER?

The name honors the flutter of uncertainty that comes with change, and the strength it takes to rise anyway. It’s about movement, grace, and the quiet power of reinvention.

What I’m writing

SEASONS

One summer. Two loves. Two lives.

A novel series inspired by my life. It follows Imani, a girl raised in the furnace, as she learns to stop bracing, to be loved without being hurt, and to raise children who never have to hold their breath. After Book One, her story splits into two lives, and every book after it carries both.
