Living in Germany has opened up a world of inspiration, from cobblestone streets to boutique finds, and I’m here to share it all with you.
My journey
After facing cancer and becoming an empty nester, I found myself at a crossroads. Europe became more than a duty station. It became a canvas for healing, creativity and growth.
SHE FLUTTER was born from that transformation: a space to style my life with purpose, document my book journey, and connect with other women navigating change.
Where the story was written
From Maui to the Vatican
SEASONS was written and imagined all over the USA and Europe. Germany is home for now.
Why SEASONS
SEASONS is a novel inspired by my life. It follows Imani, a girl who grew up in the furnace, as she learns to stop bracing, to be loved without being hurt, and to raise children who never have to hold their breath.
It is a story about breaking a generational curse, and about the everyday work it takes to build a love that lasts.
Can a girl raised in the furnace learn to be loved, and to love, without burning anybody?
Why SHE FLUTTER?
The name honors the flutter of uncertainty that comes with change, and the strength it takes to rise anyway. It’s about movement, grace, and the quiet power of reinvention.
