Who we are
sheflutter.com is the website of author Tamica M. Roberson and SHE FLUTTER. For any question about your information, write to hello@sheflutter.com.
What we collect, and why
Letters. If you join Letters, we collect your email address and a record of when you signed up. Letters are sent with Kit, which stores your address and tells us whether a Letter was opened or a link clicked, so we can see what readers enjoy. You’ll get a confirmation email first, and every Letter has an unsubscribe link.
Book One. When SEASONS Book One is ready, it will be delivered through BookFunnel, which receives your email address to send you the book.
Email you send us. Messages to our @sheflutter.com addresses are kept in our Microsoft 365 email so we can reply.
Videos. Videos on this site come from YouTube, but nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. Then YouTube’s player loads in its privacy-enhanced mode, and Google’s privacy policy applies.
Visiting the site. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub receives your IP address when you visit, to deliver the pages and keep the service secure. Our fonts and images are served from this site, so loading a page doesn’t contact any other company.
Cookies and analytics. None. This site sets no cookies and uses no advertising or analytics trackers.
Our legal basis
For visitors in the European Union and the UK: we send Letters because you asked for them (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing). We reply to your messages and keep the site secure because we have a legitimate interest in doing so.
Who helps us, and where your information is kept
Kit, BookFunnel, Microsoft and GitHub act as our service providers and handle information only on our behalf. They may store it in the United States. We never sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address for Letters until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only a record that you unsubscribed, so we don’t email you again. Email you send us is kept as long as we need it to help you.
Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or stop hearing from us, by writing to hello@sheflutter.com. If you’re in the European Union or the UK, you can also object to how we use it and complain to your local data protection authority. California residents: we don’t sell or share personal information.
Children
This site and Letters are meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
